In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) 
IVF is the most well-known fertility procedure, it is when eggs are retrieved and fertilised outside the body. This method offers hope for many who face fertility challenges – here's a quick guide to the steps of IVF treatment: 

Ovarian stimulation: Medications are given to stimulate the ovaries to produce eggs. 

Egg retrieval: The eggs are then carefully collected from the ovaries. 

Fertilisation: The eggs are fertilised with sperm in a lab. 

Embryo transfer: Once the embryos have developed, they are transferred to the uterus.

Other treatment options 

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): ICSI is a fertilisation method used during in vitro fertilisation (IVF) which involves injecting a single sperm directly into an egg. ICSI increases the chances of fertilisation for some patients.   

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): IUI treatment is designed to help a higher number of better-quality sperm reach the womb and is used in cases where there is a low sperm count or poor sperm mobility. IUI is less invasive than IVF and is usually done during the natural ovulation cycle.
